The box is equipped with a magnet to ensure that the packaging will remain closed. I don't know about you, but I personally like box-type packaging. I rarely do touch-ups during the day so I pretty much leave all my makeup at home. I don't have to worry about super sturdy packaging.
Bahama Mama has a rich tan color with a little bit of shimmer. It contains silica, which is known for controlling oil. For Php 775, you get 7.08 grams of product. Not bad considering the price of 8-gram NARS bronzers, which is around $33.
This bronzer is quite tricky to apply. This is one of those products that are easy to overdo because of its mad pigmentation. I usually just stipple my angled brush on the pan, that's it. If you put on to much, this will make your skin look a bit dirty. It doesn't help that the product is quite powdery.
PROS:
- Pigmented
- Stays on for 4-6 hours
- Economical
- Adorable packaging
- Available locally (Visit Beauty Bar)
CONS:
- Easy to overdo
- Powdery
- More brown than bronze
VERDICT:
- This is one of those so-so products. I don't love it, I don't hate it. I think this is a bit too brown for my NC35 skin tone. I wouldn't recommend this for bronzer beginners because like I said earlier, this is easy to overdo. I still prefer my trusty NARS Laguna over this.
